Our Ministries

Christ-Centered Counseling

Pastor Brad Williams, M.A. in Counseling, offers Biblically-based counseling for individuals and couples, as well as premarital counseling.

For more information, contact the church at (989) 275-5055 or email at brad@fccroscommon.org.

Emergency Food Pantry

Because God has asked us to feed the hungry, our church serves the community with an emergency Food Pantry each Wednesday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

We serve many families each month with bags of groceries. Many stores, churches, and individuals also help support this emergency Food Pantry.

Missions

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth”
(Acts 1:8).

God has commanded us to be involved in local, regional, and world missions. Our church is passionate about fulfilling this call. As a result, we are actively involved in missions at the local, regional, national, and international level.

We currently support missions on four different continents.

If you would like more information on any of the missions or ministries that we support, please contact us.

Youth

We have Children’s Sunday School which is held from September to May from 11:00-12:00 during church service. Our nursery is also available staffed with caring adults to take care of infants and toddlers during service.

We are prayerfully working to establish a Community Youth Group, joining with other Christian churches to do local service projects and looking for others to join in the effort.

Activities Within The Community

Our church wants to be supportive of the community in which we live. Thus, we participate in community events or festivals throughout the year. We set up a mitten and scarf tree in December for community Christmas baskets.

We Work With Other Christian Churches

We believe the Church is the whole believing body of born-again Christians, not just separate church buildings or denominations. Therefore, we value cooperation among Christian churches.

Pastor Brad helped establish a Christian Marriage Retreat in February 2020, along with other pastors and churches in the area. First Congregational Church also sponsors a Women’s Valentine Tea each February inviting women from all area churches to participate, and a Harvest Dinner for our community around Thanksgiving.

Finally, we work with a variety of area churches and organizations to bring Food Trucks to Roscommon several times per year.
